This shard will make it so that Ori automatically sticks to walls in the game. You'll get the Sticky shard early on in the game and when you do, make sure you equip it to Ori. Instead, to stay on a wall, you'll need to press the jump button over and over. Equip the Sticky shard: When you start Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Ori won't stick to walls. Sometimes, a very tiny boost in height is all you need to reach an area you thought was unreachable so practice the Spirit Edge's timing to learn this ability early on. To do this, jump and at the exact second that Ori starts to fall (or reached the top of their jump's arc in other words), use the Spirit Edge attack to get a small boost added to your jump's total height. It's useful for taking out enemies, but if you use it right at the top of a jump's arc, Ori will gain a very tiny boost in height. Use the Spirit Edge to jump higher: You'll get the Spirit Edge ability early on in the game and it's basically a light sword. You should be constantly looking at your map while playing to ensure you find each of these unexplored areas while you traverse through each of the game's areas. When you see areas that lead to darkness but don't have defined edges to indicate a dead end, you're safe to assume that in that darkness is something new for you to explore. It's important to study what things on the map look like so that later in the game when your map is chock full of points of interest, you won't be confused. It will show you the location of things you've discovered and reveal places you haven't explored. Study the map: The map in Ori and the Will of the Wisps is extremely helpful. So, when you start the game, focus on taking out enemies for spirit light and finding hidden spirit light containers so that you can have enough to purchase the triple jump ability when you meet Twillen. It's important to note, however, that purchasing it will cost 2200 Spirit Lights, which is a lot. This jump ability will make exploration in the game significantly easier and more rewarding. When you run into an NPC named Twillen for the first time, purchase the Triple Jump Ability from them.
